Digits can't repeat within a cage. The indicated diagonals show both the total size in cells of any coloured regions that overlap the cells on that diagonal, as well as the sum of the digits along that diagonal. Eg a diagonal clue of 7 would indicate that the digits in/along it would either come from the same 7 cell coloured region, or multiple coloured regions whose total size equals 7.
