Each row, each column and each region must contain the digits 1 to 9 once each. Regions consist of nine orthogonally connected cells and must be determined by the solver. Clues outside the grid indicate the sum of digits in each contiguous segment of cells that belong to the same region in that row/column, in ascending order (not necessarily in the order of appearance). Ie the largest clue will appear in the pill closest to the grid. For a given row or column, either all clues or no clues are given. Note that the same region can be represented in multiple pills in a row/column, as long as there's at least one cell in another region between.
