Normal sudoku rules apply. The sum of the digits on a line within a box (the line's 'region sum') must be the same for each box that line passes through. Dots apply to the lines in this puzzle, not cells. Lines separated by a white dot have consecutive region sums. Lines separated by a black dot have region sums in a ratio of 1:2.
